Contact us at (503) 383-7833 to register for a class. Not sure which class is best, or which training program is right for your pooch?  Call to schedule a complimentary evaluation.

All classes run for 6 weeks. Classes are 45 minutes in length. Cost is $125.

Please make sure you walk your dog before coming into the classroom. Please bring soft treats, or stop by the office to pick some up in our retail store.. Do not feed your dog the meal before class! For evening sessions, that means no dinner. For Saturday classes, skip breakfast.

Children ages 10 or above may participate in class.  Children ages 9 and younger may attend if there is an adult to manage them (an adult other than the person working with the dog).

No classes during the week of Spring Break, which is March 23 to 28 this year.

If your dog has severe dog, or human aggression we have trainers available who can work with you during private sessions to get your dog ready for group work.

2:00 - 2:45p.m.Canine Good Citizen:  This is for the dog who has been through basic obedience and is ready to move to more challenging tasks. We'll review basics, improve “stay” command, teach “side-by-side” for use in greetings, learn “stand,” and cover the 10 tests for Canine Good Citizen as a basis for everyday success and put special emphasis on recall (coming when called).

11:00 - 11:45 p.m.:  Puppy Preschool: This is a great starter class for you and your puppy. For pups 8 to 15 weeks of age. Puppies get to play, socialize, learn basic obedience skills and more! You will walk away with a better understanding of puppy behavior, and with enhanced skills in communicating with your pup.

12:00 to 12:45 p.m.: Puppy Social: For puppies 5 to 12 months.  Puppies will continue basic obedience skills with more emphasis on impulse control at home or in public.

Both puppy sessions have a time to have all your puppy questions answered!

Puppy classes are "open enrollment," so you can start any time and attend any six  sessions that work for your schedule.

Puppies in "preschool" need to have had at least one vaccine, at least three days before they first attend class.

Puppy classes are scheduled first on Saturdays so the floor is freshly disinfected!

1:00 - 1:45pm - Basic Obedience: This is for those who have never had formal obedience training, or who have had some, but are in need of a refresher. We will focus on basic commands such as sit, down, stay and walking on loose lead. Most importantly you will learn to communicate your expectations to your pet effectively.  A skill you can use in ALL areas of your relationship with your pet.
